The Red Sea Yachting Institute

is the first accredited yachting school, by EMAS (the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety) Licensed No.1

We are affiliated with the Royal Yachting Association which is the National Governing Body in the United Kingdom for Motor Cruising, Powerboating and associated theory learning. Our affiliation to the RYA means we can award RYA certification in these schemes and fields. Which is recognized world-wide. RYA training centers are inspected annual to ensure the highest standards of quality education are delivered to their clients.

Red Sea Yachting Institute offers clients the opportunity to go from basic level courses through to professionally certification within the RYA Yachtmaster Scheme for Motor Cruising. Our courses take place from three locations within El Gouna Resort.

Our Theory Course Teaching takes place at our dedicated school located in the El Bostan region of El Gouna
Motor Cruising Courses depart from Abydos Marina on board our school boat a Strike 38, this vessel is equipped with the latest RADAR and Instrumentation to enable teaching within a Digital First Environment.
Powerboat Tuition takes place from Abu Tig Marina on board our newly renovated 8-meter training vessel powered by a 150 Mercury Engine.

Our Mission

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a stimulating and specialized educational environment for the training of yacht sailors through training courses that include navigation, Seamanship, electronic navigation, safety, maintenance and first aid. Additionally, we focus on developing hospitality skills, social behaviors, understanding the marine environment and the importance of preserving it. We aim to enhance the knowledge and the skills necessary for working on yachts professionally and responsibly, enabling successful integration into the local and international labor market. We achieve this by employing highly qualified training crews at the highest educational level with the latest ways of training and laboratories to reach the learners to the highest levels of training to increase their competitiveness in the maritime labor market.

Our Vision

Vision Statement

We aim to provide highly efficient training for those who wish to work on yachts, with the aim of providing them with marine and technical skills and enabling them to work efficiently on-board yachts to enter the labor market in Egypt, stimulate tourism and reduce marine accidents by providing practical and theoretical training approved by the Egyptian Authority for the Maritime Safety. Additionally, we aim to access the international labor market through certifications accredited by the Royal Yacht Association in the United Kingdom.
